We have over 600 stores located throughout the UK, ranging from large out-of-town and flagship stores of over 100,000 sq ft, to Simply Food stores of around 7,000 sq ft. Our largest store is located at Marble Arch on London’s Oxford Street and has around 170,000 sq ft of selling space.

We receive a substantial number of student requests throughout the year ranging from personal interviews to questionnaire responses and customised research. Unfortunately, we’re unable to handle these enquiries on an individual basis.

We are, therefore, directing all student enquiries to this section which has been developed to make it easy for you to access the information you need. Our website is updated regularly with new announcements about the business so you can get the latest publicly available information. Here you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions we receive from students.

Farming for the Future winner 2011

Vote for your UK Farmer

Seamus has demonstrated a sustainable approach to business in many ways. He is an active member of local discussion groups, sharing best practice with his peers, and also organises a collaborative buying group to minimise input costs for his own farm and his neighbours. He is a participant in a focus farm scheme, which has seen more than 350 farmers visit his farm to share experiences and knowledge, and is committed to achieving the best technical performance possible.

But his achievements do not stop there. He has increased the efficiency of utilisation of farm manures by using precision GPS application, minimising the need for artificial fertiliser. He has committed to planting 450m of new hedgerow each year for 5 years to improve biodiversity, and has fenced off species rich grassland and watercourses to protect these important environmental areas. He has also invested in a new poultry house to improve animal welfare, which includes double glazed windows to allow the birds to enjoy natural daylight.
